Kentucky Colonel Michael Masters, “The Kentucky Bourbon Master” is the author of Hospitality Kentucky Style, Kentucky Story, the autobiography of Colonel Michael Masters in 103 short stories.

The Colonel presents and hosts Kentucky Bourbon Tastings and Kentucky Bourbon and Fine Foods Tastings at the Kentucky Bourbon House, his tavern and dinner house. Guests come to the Kentucky Bourbon House from across America and from around the world.

The Colonel is a frequent keynote speaker on Kentucky hospitality, Kentucky history, Kentucky heritage, Kentucky hospitality and Kentucky Fine Foods and Spirits. His public speaking engagements have taken him across America telling the Kentucky story.

The Colonel attended the University of Kentucky, Bellarmine University and he has several degrees from the University of Louisville. The Colonel has a broad interest in early American and Kentucky history and genealogy. His ancestors are some of the initial American colonists in early 1600 in Maryland and Virginia and his ancestors are the founding Kentucky pioneers 1774-1780 at Boonesborough, Bryan’s Station, Lexington and Bardstown. The Colonel’s ancestors, the Beall’s, Boone’s and Bryan’s, are the legendary historic figures in the early settlement of Kentucky.

Margaret Sue Masters, “The Kentucky Hostess” is a renowned Kentucky hostess and caterer, her Southern manners and ways, simply elegant. Margaret Sue is the author of The Kentucky Cooking That Has Made Me Famous. Margaret Sue presides over the Kentucky Bourbon Cooking School. Her cooking demonstrations and cooking classes have entertained scores of Kentucky touring groups, convention groups and association meetings.

Margaret Sue’s knowledge of and experience with Kentucky entertaining and Kentucky hospitality have been a source of great delight to all you have had the pleasure of attending her social events. As the president of Chapeze House Catering she has been privileged to host cocktail and dinner parties to an elite Kentucky clientele.

Margaret Sue has several degrees from the University of Kentucky. She is active in buying, restoring and furnishing old Kentucky houses and commercial buildings from the pioneer and ante-bellum period of Kentucky history. Margaret Sue’s interior design work in the old Kentucky houses she has restored has brought her recognition from preservationists with an interest in saving post Revolutionary War and Federalist architecture. Margaret Sue is descended from the initial English colonists to America in Massachusetts and Virginia and the founding pioneers of Kentucky.

Margaret Sue has restored and furnished McManus House circa 1797-1820 her Bardstown home; Kentucky Bourbon House located at Chapeze House in Bardstown, Kentucky circa 1787, her catering mansion; Millstone Cottage circa 1850 her B & B Inn; Pioneer Park Cottage circa 1851, her B & B Inn; Beall’s Row Coffeehouse circa 1810; and Elmwood Mansion circa 1856, her Louisville home.
